The first week in April will be busy for Studio B. Not only is the cast for Nunsensations in full rehearsal, Robin Hackett, our director, will perform her wonderful jazz music live at the Sammon Center for the Arts in Dallas. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 2 from 7-10 p.m. as a part of the art center’s Sammon Jazz series. The UNT Jazz Singers will open for Robin and she will be joined by Julie Bonk on piano, Chris Clark on bass and Andrew Griffith on drums. Tickets are available through the art center (www.sammonsartcenter.org) and tickets are $35. Support Robin and come on out to see the show!
Later in the week, Studio B will take part in the Flower Mound Library Summer Fun Showcase on Saturday, April 5 from 11-2. Come out to the library and find out more about Studio B and all of our great summer classes and workshops.
That morning, one of our community supporters and partners, The Dance Space, will be holding their grand opening from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. along with Family Care Chiropractic, located right next door. Both businesses just opened at 1681 Justin Road in Flower Mound, right in front of the Cloud Nine salon and spa. Join The Dance Space and Family Care for a morning of kids activities and entertainment. Stop by The Dance Space to learn about great summer camps (like the Pop Star camp, Princess Ballerina camp, Show Biz camp and the popular American Girl camp) as well as weekly summer ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop classes and summer dance intensives.
