What’s the difference between acting on stage and acting for the camera? Come to this three day intensive and get some answers. June 14, 21, 28 from 2-5 p.m.

Students will study basic film acting techniques and learn the secrets to successful film auditioning. Grounded in the work of famous master teacher Sanford Meisner, students will experience a rigorous and demanding course of study, learning to trust themselves enough to create believable, exciting characters for the camera without going over the top!

They will practice their new skills on camera, and then experience their first taste of stardom as they produce a short film written and performed during the workshop.

A week after the class is concluded, each student will receive a DVD of their short film, including an introduction and a personalized notes and guidance message delivered by master teacher, Sharon Garrison.
Ms. Garrison brings to this unique project some 25-plus years of theatre and film coaching/teaching, plus a life-time of professional stage and film acting since the age of four.
