Studio B Presents Coffeehouse Series February 8

Studio B presents Lisa Ferraro on February 8 at 7:00 p.m. as part of the Coffeehouse Series. Ms. Ferrarro is an accomplished jazz musician that has been described as soulful and compelling. Musician Julie Bonk will play the piano. This series is a perfect opportunity for the community to come out and experience wonderful live music in a relaxed, smoke free environment–withouth driving all the way to Dallas.

Auditions for The Odd Couple This Week

Just announced–Studio B has postponed the production of Little Women and has replaced it with The Odd Couple. Auditions for The Odd Couple will take place at the theater this Thursday at 7 p.m.  FELIX and OSCAR have been cast, but we still need 4 additional men and 2 women. Do you remember “Conjunction Junction” or “Three is a Magic Number”?  How about “I’m Just a Bill”? Come take a trip down memory lane and see and sing along to Schoolhouse Rock Live! Studio B is proud to present the children’s workshop production of “Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr”. This cast consists entirely of children and takes you on a journey through one of the most popular educational cartoons ever to hit the television. It will delight children and even adults! Show dates and times are Friday, February 1 at 7:30, Saturday, February 2 at 2:30 and 7:30 and Sunday, February 3 at 2:30. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $8 for children ages ten and under. Group discount rates are available. Schoolhouse Rock Rehearsals 1-4 on Saturday

Schoolhouse Rock rehearsals have been changed to 1-4 p.m. for THIS Saturday due to UIL participation. The kids all got their parts assigned today and are having a great time singing and learning their lines.  Thanks to Miss Michele for working with them during rehearsals–it will be a terrific show. Parents will have a chance to buy Schoolhouse Rock t-shirts for cast members–order forms will be available soon. Also, each cast member will get a buy one/get one free admission coupon to give to someone for a performance. Those will be going home soon.

Schoolhouse Rock Rehearsals Starts Today

Just a reminder that Schoolhouse Rock rehearsals will begin TODAY-Wednesday, Jan. 2 (not tomorrow, Jan. 3) at 5 p.m. Please show up on time and pay your tuition if you have not already. Rehearsals will go until 7 p.m.
