Two Auditions Coming in January

Have you updated your headshot and resume? Picked out a song? Prepared your monologue? Studio B Performing Arts Center has TWO auditions coming up in January so now is the perfect time to prepare.

January 12, 2013—Open auditions for the full Broadway production of OLIVER! will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Auditions for this show are open to ages 6 to adults and all ages are needed. We are kids and adults with strong singing skills and are casting for all roles. For this audition, please prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song (please bring an accompaniment CD) and a prepared monologue. The music director recommends music from Fiddler on the Roof, Chorus Line, Fantastiks, Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, On the Town, Westside Story or songs from composers Bernstein, Webber or Jerry Bock. The director will cast between 20-30 total, so not everyone who auditions will be cast.

January 19, 2013–Open auditions for the adult production of ANY NUMBER CAN DIE will take place starting promptly at 10 a.m. The director will require cold readings from the script and group readings. All roles are available.

For both auditions, please bring an audition form, headshot and current resume.
