Here is more about Ms. Quinn
Amber Quinn has an M.F.A. from the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University, and B.F.A. from the University of Texas at San Marcos. As an actress, she’s worked internationally performing at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia, as well as in Forlì, Italy, with masters of Commedia dell’arte, and with leading directors of American regional theatres in Cambridge, Philadelphia, and New York City. Her first professional acting gigs were playing ninja warriors as a voice artist in Anime. However, long before becoming a storyteller through verbal communication as an actress, she was initially passionate about expression through movement. Amber has over 25 years experience in Dance, and various other physical disciplines, studying Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Theatre Dance, Tap, African, Latin, Trapeze, Circus, Yoga, Boxing, Stage Combat, and Alexander body alignment techniques. In addition to performance and teaching, she directs, films, and edits video art pieces, special events, and documentaries, volunteers as a mentor through Communities in Schools, and as a tutor for “at risk” students through H.O.P.E. tutoring. She relocated back to Texas in 2008 and most recent DFW theatrical production highlights include Barbara in Children with Wingspan Theatre Company, Mistress Quickly in The Merry Wives of Windsor at the Trinity Shakespeare Festival, Suzette in Don’t Dress for Dinner at Theatre Arlington, Doctors 1-6 in Reckless at Theatre Two, Elvira in Blithe Spirit at Stage West, and Kate in The Cover of Life at the Greater Lewisville Community Theatre.
